My name is Senator Mary-Margaret Wilbert of Maine. I represent Maine I was born and raised in Maine. I was raised in a middle class family. Both my mother and my father worked. I had two other siblings, a brother and a sister. I was the middle child. Over the summer each of us would work for our mom until we were old enough to get a real summer job. I left for college and went to school in the south. I went to University of North Carolina. In college I majored in history. My goal in life was to become a senator. I have worked very hard at achieving this goal. I am a moderate republican Senator. Trying to pass my bill, which focuses on allowing abortion but reducing the number of abortions.

A Bill Reduce number of abortions Be it enacted by the Members of the McG Congress of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. TITLE Birth Control for Minors
This Act may be cited as the “Birth Control for Minors” SECTION 2. FINDING
Of every 1,000 girls ages 15-17 in the city of Denver Colorado, 54.5 will become pregnant.
The teen birth raet is up in 26 states
One in four American girls has sexually transmitted dieses
SECTION 3: PURPOSE
to prevent abortion as much as possible particularly as a means of birth control
to make birth control more widely available to girls most at risk of unwanted pregnancies by establishing health care centers in schools with high pregnancy rates
to protect the right of women who are raped to obtain abortions
SECTION 4. ELIGIBILITY a.Local communities the people who will receive this bill would be the people who would not be able to afford birth control. The people who are living in poverty (lower class). b.Birth control would also be available to girls at the age of 16. c.School would be able apply for the money to set up healthcare centers.
SECTION 5. TERMS AND BENEFITS a.This bill would set up health centers at schools. b.These schools would be schools that have a high rate of pregnancies. c.Some of the funding for this would come from the federal government. d.Money for this would also come from the community.
